Jai Chanda International

Our office is at A-15, Satyawati Nagar, right in Ashok Vihar Phase III. We are located directly behind Laxmi Bhai College, so there are always students walking past the gate and talking loudly between their classes. Jai Chanda International is a small setup that we run with a handful of staff who have been with us for years. The building is a typical residential-style structure that we converted for business use. We have a lot of shelves filled with samples and old ledgers that we probably don't need anymore but can't bring ourselves to throw away. The commute here can be a bit of a struggle during peak hours, but once you are inside, it’s a fairly peaceful environment. We spend the day coordinating with suppliers and making sure the logistics for our international shipments are on track. There is nothing very glamorous about what we do. It involves a lot of double-checking numbers and waiting for people to call us back. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea several times a day, which is probably the most important part of our routine. The air conditioner in the main room makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it keeps us cool enough in the summer. We aren't trying to change the world or anything like that; we are just focused on keeping our orders moving and making sure our clients get what they asked for without any drama.
