We have been based at D 349 in Sector 1 of Rohini for quite a while now. This part of Avantika in Delhi has a very specific feel to it, mostly residential but with plenty of small offices tucked away in the blocks. Most of us get here early to avoid the worst of the Delhi traffic, which can be a real mess if you hit the main roads at the wrong time. The building itself is pretty unremarkable, just a standard structure like many others in Sector 1. We have the Infosys name on a small sign so folks don't wander into the wrong house. Inside, it’s just a regular workplace where we sit at our desks and get through the daily tasks. We don't have any polished lobbies or fancy artwork on the walls. It is more about the work than the decor here. During lunch, some of us walk down the street to grab a bite or just to get some air. The neighborhood is usually quite loud with kids playing or vendors selling things from their carts. It gets very hot in the summer months, so the air conditioning is always running hard. We’ve gotten to know the people who work in the nearby shops over the years. It’s a very grounded, local way to work. We just show up, do what is required, and head home when the sun starts to set. It is a simple routine for us.
