Hna Foods India is based over in Pitampura, inside the GDITL Northex Tower. We are up on the fifth floor in office 501-A. Being in Netaji Subhash Place is convenient because the metro is close and there are plenty of places to grab a quick bite. Our office is pretty straightforward. We spend most of our time coordinating with suppliers across the country to bring in different food items. It’s a lot of paperwork and tracking shipments, honestly. We aren't trying to sound like some big international conglomerate. We are just a local team of about ten people trying to get things right. The office gets a lot of sun in the afternoon, which is nice, though it makes the air conditioning work overtime. We started this because we saw how difficult it was for some smaller vendors to get their products into the bigger markets. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything. We just come in, check the emails, and start calling the warehouses. Sometimes things go wrong with the transport, or a shipment gets delayed, and we have to spend the whole day fixing it. That’s just the nature of the food business. We like being in North Delhi; it feels like the right place for us to grow at our own pace without too much noise or unnecessary flashiness. It is just plain work for us.
