Gurpreet Kaur

I’m Gurpreet Kaur and you can find me at Wz-3468 in Raja Park, which is part of Rani Bagh. If you’ve ever been to Rani Bagh, you know it’s a maze of narrow streets and houses packed together. My place is one of those WZ numbers that can be a real pain to find if you don’t have a map. It’s a busy neighborhood in New Delhi and there’s always noise from the street vendors or the traffic nearby. I work out of a small room on the ground floor. It’s not a shiny corporate office. It’s just a place with a couple of chairs and a lot of work to do. I’ve been here for quite some time now and most of the people on the block know what I do. We don’t really do any advertising. Word of mouth is usually how anyone finds us. Some days are really hectic with people dropping in and out, and other days I’m just sitting there by myself. I don’t have a fancy website or a big marketing plan. I just wake up, open the door, and start working on whatever is on the list for that day. It’s a simple, local business and we just take things as they come. It's a bit messy sometimes, but that's just life in Raja Park and we like it.
