We have been running D J Export Pvt Ltd out of this spot in Chirag Delhi for a while now. House number 364 A is where everything happens. If you know New Delhi, you know how busy these lanes get. It is not some big glass building, just a regular place where we get our work done every day. We handle a lot of different things for export. Most days start with checking the new orders and seeing what needs to move out. The phone rings a lot and there is always someone coming or going. Chirag Delhi has its own rhythm and we are just a part of that. We do not have a fancy lobby or anything like that. There are files on the desks and sometimes the internet acts up when it rains, but we manage. People know where to find us if they need something shipped out. It is a lot of paperwork and making sure the boxes are packed right. Sometimes we stay late when a big shipment is due. It is just the way it goes here. We have been in this neighborhood long enough that the tea stall guy knows exactly when we want our morning cups. It is a practical life, keeping track of logistics and making sure nothing gets stuck at the ports. We just try to keep things moving along without too much fuss or trouble.
