Our place is Deiconic Apparels Pvt. Ltd. and we are located at Plot No-B-26 on Shani Bazar Road. It’s part of the Prem Nagar-III area in Kirari Suleman Nagar. The address sounds a bit long when you say it out loud. Being on Shani Bazar Road means it gets very crowded on market days. There are people everywhere and it’s hard to move a car through. We mostly deal with clothes and fabric. The Khasra numbers 141 and 142 cover where we work. It’s a practical space. We have stacks of material and sewing machines making noise throughout the day. It’s not a showroom. It’s more of a place where things actually get made. The floor is usually covered in little bits of thread and cloth scraps. We try to sweep up every evening but it just comes back the next day. The lighting is bright so we can see what we are doing with the needles. It’s a lot of manual work and we all just pitch in. Sometimes it gets a bit stuffy inside when it’s humid outside. We keep the windows open but that lets the street noise in too. People in Prem Nagar-III are mostly hard workers, and we fit right in with that. We’ve been here at Block B for a good while now. It’s a busy, messy, honest kind of place to work every day for the crew.
