Saraswati Vihar is where we do all our work. Our address is D-792, and it’s basically a house that we’ve turned into our manufacturing space for Abr Garments Manufacturing Co. It's a residential area, so it's a bit quieter than the industrial zones, which we actually like. You can hear the sewing machines humming through the hallways most afternoons. We have different rooms set up for cutting fabric and doing the stitching. It's not a giant factory with thousands of workers. It’s a smaller operation where we know everyone by name. Sometimes the living room is full of boxes waiting to be picked up. We don't have a fancy lobby or a sign out front that lights up. Most people just know us from word of mouth or by seeing the delivery vans stop by. We've been at D-792 for a good stretch of time now. The kitchen is where we all take our breaks and have tea together. It’s a very family-like atmosphere here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world. We just want to make garments that people can actually use. Dealing with fabric is messy work, so there's usually lint on the floor and scraps of thread everywhere. It’s just how it looks when you’re actually making things by hand. We like the neighborhood and we like the work we do. It’s as simple as that, and we keep busy every day.
