Goyal Food Industries

You can find us over at Plot No-A-10 on Lawrence Road. We are right in the middle of the Dr Lohia Industrial Area in Shakur Basti. It is a very busy part of Keshav Puram and there is always something going on outside our doors. Being a food industry business like Goyal Food Industries means we have to stay on top of things every single day. The machines run, the staff moves around, and there is a lot of noise, but we are used to it by now. The air smells like whatever we are processing that day. Sometimes it’s a bit crowded on the street with all the loading and unloading. We have been at this location for a good bit of time. It isn’t a glamorous job, just making food products and getting them ready to go out. The building itself is practical. We don't have much time for decorating or making things look corporate. We just focus on the floors and the equipment. If you are walking through the industrial area, you will see a lot of places like ours, but we think we have a good little corner here. The tea stall down the road is where we usually take our breaks. It is a community of workers around here. We know the neighbors and the truck drivers who pass through. It’s a lot of manual work and long hours, but that is the nature of the industry in this part of Delhi. We just get on with it.
