Colorants

Our business is located in the basement of Bansal Tower, which is in Commercial Centre-II over in Ashok Vihar Phase-II. Being in a basement means we don't have many windows, but we have plenty of space for our supplies. We deal with colors and dyes, so you can imagine the place is a bit stained. There are splashes of pigment on the floors and sometimes on the walls too. It’s just the nature of the work. We spend our days mixing things, checking shades, and packing up orders for various customers. It’s quite a technical job even though it looks messy. We have to be careful with the measurements or the whole batch is ruined. The air usually has a bit of a chemical smell, so we keep the fans running all the time. Ashok Vihar is a busy area, so getting deliveries in and out through the commercial center can be a bit of a headache with the traffic. We have a small desk near the entrance where we handle the bills and talk to anyone who drops by. It’s a small operation, and we don’t have any fancy displays. We just focus on getting the colors right. Sometimes we stay late to finish a specific batch if a customer is in a hurry. It’s honest work, and we’ve been at this location for quite some time now. We just keep mixing and matching to get the right shades every day.
