We are up on the 11th floor of Aggarwal Corporate Heights in Netaji Subhash Place. It’s a busy part of Pitampura, and the building is usually full of people running around for meetings. Better Deli Foods is run from this office, though the real work happens elsewhere. Here, it’s mostly phones ringing and people looking at spreadsheets. It gets pretty hectic around lunch because everyone in the building heads down at the same time. Our office is unit 1109, it’s not huge but it fits the team we have. We spend most of our time talking to suppliers and making sure the deli stuff gets to where it needs to go. There’s a lot of traffic in NSP, so getting in and out can take forever if you time it wrong. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The windows look out over the city, which is okay, but mostly we are just focused on the tasks at hand. It’s a corporate building, but we try to keep things relaxed inside our own space. No one wears suits unless they have to. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now and it works for us because of the metro nearby. It’s a lot of coordination and paperwork, making sure the food stays fresh and the deliveries are on time. It isn't a glamorous job, just a lot of back-and-forth communication every single day. Sometimes the elevators are slow.
