Amit Fast Food Products

Rani Bagh is one of those neighborhoods where everyone seems to know everyone else. Amit Fast Food Products is right in the middle of that energy. We have a small space where we keep all our supplies, and most of the day is spent on prep work for the snacks we make. There’s a big deep fryer that stays hot for most of the afternoon, and the smell of oil is just part of the walls now. We have crates of soda stacked up near the back door, and sometimes it’s hard to find a place to stand when a new delivery comes in. Amit is usually here, checking the stock or talking to the suppliers on his phone. The front counter is where we spend most of our time, handing out orders to people who are usually in a hurry to get back to their shops or homes. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just a few calendars on the wall and a small clock that's five minutes fast. The lighting is a bit yellow, but it does the job. We see the same faces every day, people who stop by for a quick bite while they’re doing their shopping. It gets quite hot in the summer because the shop doesn't have much breeze, so we keep a bucket of cold water and a mug behind the counter. It’s a plain, hardworking little spot that doesn't change much from year to year.
