Our place is over in Sikenderpur at 21, and it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a small service business in this area. We show up every day, get the lights on, and wait to see what the morning brings in terms of work. It’s not always glamorous, mostly just dealing with the stuff that needs fixing or organizing for people who don't have the time to do it themselves. The street outside can get quite noisy with all the traffic, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and sometimes we spend more time chatting than actually working, but that’s how things go around here. When someone calls A X L Services, they usually just want a straight answer and someone who knows the area. We don't use those big words or try to act like we’re some huge corporation because we aren’t. It’s just us, a few tools, and a lot of paperwork that seems to never end. Sometimes the internet goes out or the rain makes the road a mess, but we still make it in. People know where to find us if they need something handled. We don’t have a big sign or anything, just the address and a door that stays open most of the time. It’s just how we run things, keeping it simple and making sure the jobs get done before we head home for dinner.
