Our shop is located in Pitampura, inside the Dr Sandeep Complex at Shop Number 8. It’s near the Shiv Market and quite close to the metro station, so there’s always people walking past. We focus on computers and IT stuff, mostly helping people who have issues with their laptops or need a part replaced. The space is a bit cramped because we have stacks of old monitors and keyboards everywhere. We’ve been at this P No-5 spot for a good amount of time now. Working in IT sounds clean, but there is actually a lot of dust inside those machines we open up. We spend our hours looking at small screws and trying to figure out why a motherboard isn't working. It’s honest work, even if it’s a bit tiring on the eyes. The metro noise is always in the background, which you get used to after a week. Sometimes customers come in frustrated because they lost their files, and we just have to sit and see what can be done. It’s not a high-tech lab, just a small shop where we use our hands and tools. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know our way around a hard drive. People from the nearby offices usually stop in when something breaks. We just keep our heads down and work through the pile of repairs on the bench. It's a busy life here in Pitampura.
