Resorte Marinha Dourada

We are located in the Tambudki area of Arpora. It’s a bit of a different side of Goa, away from the immediate beach front but still close enough to feel the breeze. The resort sits on a piece of land that we’ve worked on for years. We have some water around us and lots of greenery that we have to maintain constantly. It’s a big job keeping the plants trimmed and the walkways clear. We aren't a high-rise building; it’s more spread out with different blocks for the guests. Our days are filled with checking on the rooms and making sure the kitchen has what it needs. Arpora is a busy place, especially during the market days, but our corner in Tambudki stays a little more grounded. We have a lot of local staff who have been with us for a long time. We don't follow a strict corporate handbook; we just treat people like they’re visiting our home. There’s always something that needs fixing, whether it’s a leaky tap or a lightbulb that’s gone out. We just get on with it. The atmosphere here is pretty relaxed, mostly because we don't put on any airs. We just provide a place for people to stay while they explore the rest of the state. It’s a simple operation at its heart, just a lot of space to manage and people to look after.
