Paparazzi Resort

Running Paparazzi Resort right by Baga Beach means there is never a quiet moment. The sand has a way of getting into everything, no matter how much we sweep the floors. We are basically right in the middle of all the noise and the tourists who come to Goa. The days are long, starting early with cleaning up the common areas and making sure the rooms are ready for whoever is checking in next. It is hot and humid most of the time, so we are always checking on the fans and the water supply. The salt air from the ocean wears things down quickly, so there is always something that needs a bit of paint or a quick fix. We do not have a big corporate staff, just a few of us who handle the front desk, the cleaning, and everything else that pops up. When the sun goes down, the area gets even louder with the music from the nearby shacks. It is a hectic place to work, but being so close to the water has its own rhythm. We deal with all sorts of people, some who are happy to be on vacation and others who are tired from their travels. It is just a regular resort life where we try to keep the lights on and the guests settled without too much fuss.
