Down in Porbvaddo, Calangute, you’ll find us at Palmarinha Resort And Suites. This part of Bardez is always buzzing, especially during the tourist season when the streets are full of people looking for the beach. Our place isn't one of those massive, cold hotels; it feels more like a part of the neighborhood. We spend a lot of our time making sure the rooms are okay and the pool is clean, which is a never-ending job with all the leaves falling. The staff here are mostly local folks who have been around for years. We aren't into the corporate style of doing things. If something breaks, we just fix it ourselves or call someone we know down the road. It gets pretty hot in Calangute, so we’re always trying to keep the place cool and comfortable. We don't have a big marketing department writing things for us, we just tell people how it is. Sometimes it’s a bit chaotic when a lot of guests arrive at once, but we manage to get everyone settled eventually. We enjoy meeting the people who come to stay, though it can be tiring during the peak months. It’s a lot of hard work behind the scenes that people don't always see, like doing the laundry or fixing the AC units. But that’s just life in a place like this. We’re just here doing our thing every day.
