Optima Tech Consultant

Working out of the Royal Palms Resort in Goa at Optima Tech Consultant is a bit different than your average office job. While everyone else seems to be on holiday, we are usually stuck inside dealing with tech issues and consulting work. The resort is nice, of course, and you can see the palm trees through the windows, but the humidity can be a real struggle for our equipment. We have to keep the air conditioning running pretty much all the time just to keep the servers and laptops from acting up. Being in a tourist spot means there is always a lot of movement outside, and sometimes it is hard to stay focused when you can hear people splashing in the pool or heading off to the beach. Our office space is tucked away, so it stays relatively quiet once you close the door. We have a few mismatched chairs and a big table where we spread out all our papers and gadgets. It’s not the most organized place, but we know where everything is when we need it. Lunch usually involves finding something quick at the resort or heading out to a local shack if we have the time. It is a strange mix of work and vacation vibes, but we managed to make it work for us over the years. We just keep our heads down and get through the technical hurdles every single day.
