Majorda Beach Resort

Life out here in Salcete is a bit different than the city. At Majorda Beach Resort, we are right by the water, which means there is always sand and salt in the air. It keeps us busy just maintaining the property. The building has been here for a while, and it has that classic Goa feel to it. We don't try to be one of those ultra-modern glass resorts. We prefer the traditional look with plenty of space for people to breathe. Our days start early with the groundskeepers tidying up the garden and the kitchen staff getting breakfast ready. It’s a quiet place in the mornings before the guests wake up. We have a lot of long-term staff who have been with us for years, and they know every corner of this place. Sometimes a pipe leaks or a lightbulb goes out, and we just fix it and move on. People come here to get away from things, so we try not to be too intrusive. It’s not a complicated life, but it’s a lot of work to keep everything running smoothly. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the place stays tidy and comfortable for whoever arrives.
