You can find us at Shop No. 14 A-ll in Naika Vaddo, which is part of Calangute in North Goa. Most people think of the beach when they hear Calangute, but Naika Vaddo has a slightly different vibe once you get off the main tourist drags. Our shop is in a row of other small businesses and it is a pretty simple setup. There are always tourists wandering past on rented scooters, looking lost or heading toward the sea. The air here has that salty quality to it that messes with the electronics sometimes. We have to wipe down the desks pretty often because of the sand and dust that blows in from the road. It is a small space, Shop 14, so it gets a bit cramped when everyone is in at the same time. Mapusa is not too far away, so some of us commute from there every morning. In the peak season, the traffic on the Calangute roads is a nightmare and it takes forever just to go a few kilometers. During the rains, the road outside gets some big puddles and we have to be careful not to get splashed by passing cars. It is an alright place to work if you don't mind the chaos of a coastal town. We are just around the corner from a few local guest houses and a small grocery store.
