We are located at N 66 in Phase IV of the Verna Industrial Estate. This part of Verna is always busy with trucks moving in and out all day long. The air usually has that heavy, industrial smell and you can hear machines humming from the neighboring units. Our building is not anything special to look at, just a regular structure in the middle of a lot of other factories. Most of us get here early to beat the traffic at the main gate because the estate roads get jammed around nine. There is a small canteen down the road where we grab tea and some snacks when it is not too hot outside. During the monsoon, the rain hits the metal roofs in Phase IV so loud you can barely hear yourself think. We have been here for a bit now and the space works for what we need. It gets dusty because of the construction nearby but we just keep the windows shut and carry on. Finding N 66 is easy if you know the estate landmarks, otherwise, you might get lost in the grid of similar-looking blocks. We do not have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one by the door. It is a quiet place to work mostly, except for when the heavy vehicles rumble past the front gate. That is pretty much our daily routine here in the Verna heat.
