Godinho Hospitality is run out of the same spot as the Godinho Bar & Restaurant in Panaji. It is near the old Cine National, a landmark that most locals know well. The business is handled by Joao N Godinho and the rest of us who have been around for years. It is a very traditional setup. You can hear the sounds of the restaurant and the street right from where we do the hospitality work. Panaji has a lot of history, and being near the cinema makes us feel like we are part of that old city vibe. We do not have a separate corporate office with cubicles; we just work from the back or at a corner table. It is about as local as it gets. We handle the hospitality side of things with the same straightforward attitude we use in the restaurant. There is no fancy talk here. We just make sure things are clean, the food is good, and the guests are treated like neighbors. Most of our days are spent talking to regulars and keeping the supplies coming in. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the bar is full, but that is just the way it goes. We like being in the center of town where we can see everything happening. If you walk past Cine National, you cannot miss us. It is a family-style way of doing things, and we would not want to change it for something more polished.
