Dudhsagar Plantation & Farmstay

We’ve been living out here in Karmane Village for quite a while now. The plantation is basically our home, and we decided to open it up for people who want to see what life is like on a farm in Sanvordem. It’s not a fancy hotel or anything like that. There are lots of trees, mostly spices and fruits, and it gets pretty quiet at night once the sun goes down. Most days we are just busy with the plants or making sure the rooms are ready for whoever is coming to stay. We have a few dogs and there are always birds around. It’s a lot of work keeping everything green and growing, especially when the weather gets really hot or when the rain starts pouring down during monsoon. People usually find us because they want to visit the waterfall nearby, but then they realize staying on the farm is its own thing. We don't have a big staff, it’s mostly just us and a few local people from the village who help out with the chores and the cooking. The food we serve is just regular home-style stuff, whatever is fresh. Sometimes things break or the power goes out, but that’s just how it is living in this part of Goa. We try to keep it simple and honest. If you are looking for a place that feels real and a bit dusty around the edges, that is what we have here at our spot in Karmane.
