Jain Catering Organisation

Our shop is tucked away in Anaj Mandi, Gali No 11, at number 3737. Being in the grain market means we are always surrounded by the hustle and bustle of the city. We focus mostly on catering, and since we are so close to the grain supplies, we always make sure we get the decent stuff for our cooking. We don't have a flashy office with carpets and air conditioning. Instead, we have a big kitchen where the magic actually happens. It’s always hot in there, and someone is usually stirring a big vat of lentils or checking on the rice. We started small, just helping out with local meals, and it grew into a full organisation. We still do things the old way, mostly by hand. We don’t really bother with fancy menus; we just do the traditional dishes that everyone grew up eating. When we go out to a site, we bring all our own stoves and big pans. It’s a lot of logistics, moving all that heavy metal through the narrow lanes of the mandi, but we have a system that works. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just know where to find us when they need a lot of people fed. We just focus on the food and making sure nobody goes home hungry. It’s just how we were taught to do things.
