Indian Culture Party Celebration

We are tucked away in Bhajan Pura at 127-B, Street No-1 Shiv Vhr, Face No.8. It is a narrow street and can be hard to find if you are not from this neighborhood. We deal with all the stuff people need for a good party. Mostly it is about the local festivals and small family gatherings in the area. There are bags of marigolds and colorful cloths piled up in the back room right now. The neighbor's kids sometimes run into the shop and we have to shoo them out before they break something. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we keep the big ceiling fan running all the time. My cousin helps me with the bookings and the phone. We don't use any fancy software, just a big ledger book with names and dates written in blue ink. Sometimes we run out of ink and have to run to the stationery shop nearby. People come here because they know we are local and we understand what they need. We talk about the weather and the local news while we figure out the decorations for their event. It is a simple life. The street gets muddy when it rains, so we have to keep a mop by the door at all times. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just tell their friends about us after a good party. It is just a small place in a busy neighborhood. (253 words)
