You can find Vinod Bartan Store at C 5 on the Wazirpur Industrial Area Main Road. Being in an industrial area means things are often loud and there is a lot of heavy work happening all around us. Our shop is full of all kinds of metal utensils and kitchen items. They are stacked high on the shelves and sometimes even on the floor when we get a new shipment in. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights. It’s a hardworking store where the air smells a bit like metal and the street outside is always busy with trucks. We at Vinod Bartan Store spend a lot of our day moving these items around and helping people find exactly what they need for their kitchens. The Main Road is always dusty, so we have to spend time every morning cleaning the pots and pans so they look decent. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just focus on keeping the stock ready for anyone who stops by. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting heavy crates and staying on our feet for hours. We’ve been at C 5 for a long time now. Most of the people who come here are workers from the nearby factories or families who live in the area. We just keep things simple and stay busy with the daily chores of the shop. It is a gritty place but we like the pace of it.
