Vardhman Engg Works

Vardhman Engg Works is out in Nanglipoona, over in the Alipur area. We are located at 14/8, which is a small workshop where we do all our engineering tasks. Alipur is a bit further out from the main city buzz, so it has a different feel to it. It’s more open, but the industrial plots like ours are still busy places. Our workshop is where we spend the bulk of our time. It’s full of lathes, drills, and the usual metalworking tools. The floor is concrete and often has the marks of years of work on it. We aren't a big company with hundreds of employees. It’s just a handful of us who know how to handle the machines. We take on various engineering jobs, mostly small-scale stuff that requires a bit of focus. The air in the shop usually smells like cut metal and oil, which is something you just get used to. We don't have a fancy office for meetings. Usually, we just talk to people right there on the workshop floor while the machines are cooling down. Sometimes the weather in Alipur can be tough, either too hot or quite cold in the winter, and the shop feels it all. We just put on another layer or turn on the fans and keep going. It’s honest work, and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time without needing much else. Just a solid place to work.
