Sketch Arts International

Our place is B 2/4A in Ashok Vihar Phase 3. We are quite close to Satyawati College. It’s a nice enough area, though parking can be a real headache some days. Sketch Arts International has been here for a while. The office is basically a converted space that we’ve made our own. It’s full of sketches, papers, and art supplies. It’s never really tidy. There is always a project being worked on. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of the time, we are just sitting around the big table in the back room discussing ideas. Sometimes the neighbors complain if we stay too late and talk too loudly. The college nearby means there are always students around, which keeps the energy up. We don’t follow a strict corporate schedule. If the work needs doing, we stay. If it’s quiet, we might close early. We use simple tools and do things our own way. We don't have a receptionist. If the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door opens it. We’ve had the same old desks for years and they have some scratches on them. That doesn’t bother us. We care more about what we’re making than how the office looks. It’s a practical workspace for practical people. Ashok Vihar Phase 3 is where we feel most at home. We’ve lived in this city all our lives and this little corner near the college is just right for the kind of creative work we do.
