Srt Creation is right in the middle of all the madness in Chandni Chowk. Specifically, we are at No. 517/17 on the ground floor inside Krishna Gali. That is part of Tandon Market in Katra Neel. If you have ever been to this specific part of Old Delhi, you know how incredibly narrow the lanes are. You can barely walk two people side by side without bumping into someone or a cart. Our shop is quite small and the ceiling is very low, which makes it feel a bit cramped when we have a lot of stock. We have the lights on all day long because the sunlight never actually reaches down into these tiny alleys. There is a constant stream of people passing by the door, shouting and carrying heavy bundles on their shoulders. It is a lot of noise, but it is just the way the market works. Inside, we have stacks of cloth reaching almost all the way to the top of the walls. It smells like incense and old cotton in here. I spend most of my time squeezed behind a small wooden counter. We do not have any room for a breakroom or even a proper table, so we just eat our lunch right where we sit. Sometimes the rain floods the lane a little bit, and we have to be careful. It is a struggle to get deliveries in or out, but this is Katra Neel.
