Shri Parasnath Steel

Our place is in the basement at B-23/2 in the Wazirpur Industrial Area. Being in a basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, but it can get pretty loud when the machines are running upstairs and down here too. Shri Parasnath Steel has been here in Delhi for a good number of years now. Dealing with steel is heavy work, and our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the day. It’s not the kind of place where you wear a suit. We have stacks of material everywhere and tools scattered around where we need them. Wazirpur is a tough area with a lot of competition, but we just focus on our own corner and the work we have in front of us. Sometimes it’s hard to get things moved in and out of the basement, but we’ve developed a system that works for us over time. We aren't much for fancy talk or corporate meetings. We just talk to our customers, tell them what we have, and get the job done. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. The air is often filled with the smell of cut metal and grease, which is just part of the life we’ve chosen. We’re just regular people working hard in an industrial neighborhood, trying to make a living like everyone else around here.
