Shree Steel

Shree Steel operates out of the Wazirpur Industrial Area at A-93/15-18. If you know this part of town, you know it’s all about metal and hard work. Our space is filled with steel rods, sheets, and scraps. It’s a heavy environment and you have to watch your step. We’ve been here for quite some time now, watching the neighbors change and the traffic get worse. The air always smells a bit like hot metal and oil. Our guys are used to the heavy lifting. We spend most of the day cutting, sorting, and loading steel for different builders and manufacturers. It’s a lot of manual labor and the sun makes the roof hot in the afternoon. We usually keep the big shutters open to get some air in. There’s no fancy air conditioning in the main area, just a few fans that move the heat around. We get a lot of walk-in customers looking for specific sizes, so there is always someone weighing metal or writing out a receipt by hand. It’s not the cleanest job in the world, and your clothes get stained pretty fast. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. Word just gets around that we have what people need in stock. We just focus on getting the weight right and making sure the trucks can get in and out of the narrow lane.
