Our shop is just one of many in that busy stretch, and it’s packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of home appliances. We have fans, lights, irons, and whatever else people are looking for to fix up their houses. It’s crowded inside because we try to keep as much stock as possible on hand. We spend our days talking to electricians and homeowners who are trying to find a specific model or a better price. We just open up the shutters every morning and start moving boxes around. Sometimes the power goes out in the market, and we just wait it out with the other shopkeepers.
