You can find us in the basement of Ghawri Bhawan, which is at number 681 on Street 21. This is right off the Main Faiz Road in Karol Bagh. It’s a busy part of New Delhi, so there is always something going on outside our door. Being in the basement means it stays a bit cooler during those really hot summer months, though we do have to keep the lights on all day. The stairs down are a bit steep, so we tell everyone to watch their step. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of shelves and a couple of old wooden desks where we handle the books and the phone calls. We’ve been operating out of this basement for several years now. It’s not a large space, but it’s enough for what we need to do. We mostly deal with various supplies and general enterprise tasks that keep us busy from morning until evening. Sometimes the noise from the traffic on Faiz Road filters down, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one near the entrance so people don't miss the turn. We spend a lot of time just checking through boxes and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s a simple setup, really. No fancy lobby or anything like that, just a workspace where we try to stay organized as much as the space allows.
