Being over here at Naya Bazar Raghu Nandan 2646 means dealing with a lot of traffic every single day. S L Consumer Product Ltd is right in the thick of it. There are always rickshaws and carts blocking the way, which makes getting our items in and out a bit of a headache sometimes. Inside, it’s mostly stacks of boxes and people checking lists. We deal with all sorts of consumer goods that people need for their houses or small shops. It’s dusty work and the air always feels a bit heavy with the smell of cardboard and tea from the guy next door. We don’t really do any fancy displays. If someone needs something, they know where to find us in the pile of buildings here. The phone rings quite a bit and someone is usually shouting about a delivery being late. That’s just how it goes in Naya Bazar. We spend most of our time just organizing the inventory and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the week. It’s not a quiet place to work, but it keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. Most of the staff have been here long enough to know exactly which corner a specific product is hidden in. We just keep our heads down and get through the orders as they come in. It is a crowded spot but we are used to it by now.
