Rishabh Steel

Rishabh Steel is based out of the Wazirpur Industrial Area. We are at C-44. If you’ve ever been to Wazirpur, you know it’s full of factories and warehouses. It’s not a place for a quiet walk. There is always the sound of metal clanging and trucks backing up in the narrow lanes. We deal with steel, mostly sheets and rods that go to other manufacturers who make things like utensils or car parts. The office is right next to where we store the stock, so it stays pretty loud all day long. We aren't into the whole corporate culture thing with suits and ties. We wear regular clothes and get our hands dirty when we need to check a load that just arrived. The weather gets really hot in the sheds during June, but we just deal with it. We’ve been at this address for a while now and have seen the area change as more units open up. A lot of the same people work in the units nearby, so we see the same faces at the tea stall every morning during the break. We don't use any fancy software to track things; we mostly use our handwritten registers. It works fine for us. If someone needs steel, they call us or come by the gate, and we see what we have in the yard. It’s basic, honest work. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is.
