We've been at 4573 in Deputy Ganj for a good while now. It gets pretty loud around here in Sadar Bazar, especially when the trucks come in to drop off the new stock. It’s mostly just us moving metal around every day. If you come by, you’ll see the stacks of steel tubes and sheets piled up. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. Just a regular shop where we keep track of what comes in and what goes out to the local builders. My desk is usually covered in papers and some old tea cups because the phone doesn't stop ringing. Most of the people who walk in are looking for specific sizes of pipes or bars. We spend a lot of time measuring things out and making sure the numbers match what the customer needs. Sometimes the delivery guys get stuck in the traffic outside because these lanes are narrow. It’s a bit of a squeeze getting the bigger loads through. We just get on with the work. The floor is always a bit dusty from the metal shavings. We don't have a big marketing team or a shiny website. It’s just about getting the steel to whoever needs it for their project. Sometimes it’s hot in here during the summer but we keep the fans going and keep working. People know where to find us near the main market area. That’s just how it is here.
