Prakash And Company is located right in the middle of everything at Jama Masjid. Our address is 1089 Bazar Paiwalan. If you've ever been to the old city, you know what it’s like. It is crowded, narrow, and there's a certain kind of energy you don't find anywhere else. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a long time. The shop is small and full of whatever we happen to be trading at the moment. It’s mostly been the same way since the start. We don't have a website or anything like that, really. People just know where we are. You walk past the food stalls and the other traders and you find us. The building itself is quite old. Sometimes the electricity acts up, but we just deal with it. We spend our days talking to customers, many of whom have been coming to this bazar for decades. It’s a lot of manual work, moving stock in and out of the small doorway. We try to keep things organized, but in a space this old, stuff tends to pile up. It’s a simple operation. We open the shutters in the morning, have some tea, and wait for the regulars to stop by. It’s a lot of talk and a lot of handshakes. That is just how business happens down here in Bazar Paiwalan. We don't plan on changing much about how we do things. It’s just how we live and work in the old city.
