Spot Trading Company

If you know Chawri Bazar, you know how crowded it gets. Spot Trading Company is at 3443, Gali Bajrang Bali. It’s a narrow lane, and it can be a real struggle to get through on some days. Our shop is packed floor to ceiling with stock. We trade in various hardware and industrial items. It’s a family-run thing, and there’s always someone sitting behind the old wooden desk. We don't use computers for everything; a lot of it is still written down in ledgers. It might seem old-fashioned, but it works for us. We’ve been in this same spot for decades. Customers come in and we know them by name. It’s not like those big modern warehouses where nobody knows anyone. We deal with all sorts of people, from contractors to small shop owners. The air in the Gali is always thick with the smell of the market. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use flashlights to find what people need in the back. It’s chaotic, sure, but it’s our chaos. We don’t have a fancy showroom. You just tell us what you need, and we’ll find it for you in the stacks. It’s how business has been done here forever. We just focus on keeping the shelves stocked and the orders going out to the right people every morning. It’s a lot of manual work but we like being part of the market life.
