J.N. Gupta & Co.

We've been here at 39 Shardhanand Marg on G.B. Road for a long time now. People around here know J.N. Gupta & Co. pretty well. It’s a really busy area and we try our best to keep up with the daily rush of people. The shop itself isn't anything fancy but it gets the job done. We handle things as they come and don't worry too much about the small stuff. Sometimes it’s quiet, but usually, it's quite loud outside with all the traffic on the Marg. We have our regulars who stop by and we know most of them by name now. It’s just how things are run in this part of town. We open early most days because that's when the work starts for everyone. If you’re walking down G.B. Road, you’ll find us easily enough. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth usually brings people in. My father started things or maybe it was before that, I forget sometimes. We just focus on what's in front of us. The shelves are full of stuff we've gathered over the years. Some days are better than others, like any place. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure everything stays organized. It can get a bit dusty with the road right there, but we manage. We aren't trying to change the world, just keeping the business going day by day.
