Pilania Engg Works

Pilania Engg Works is tucked away in the Village Samai Pur Industrial Area. We are at Plot No. 30, right on the ground floor of Street No. 14. If you’re looking for us, the Chitra Dharam Kanta is the best landmark to use, otherwise, people sometimes get lost in these streets. It’s a typical engineering shop. There’s grease on the tools and the sound of metal being worked on is pretty constant. We do a lot of different engineering tasks depending on what people bring in. It’s not a shiny lab; it’s a workshop where we get our hands dirty. The floors are swept but never stay clean for long. We’ve been here at Khasra No. 7/17/1 for a while, and the neighborhood knows us. We don’t have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just fix things and make parts. Sometimes we have to wait on materials to arrive, which can be a bit of a headache. The lighting isn't the best, but we know every inch of the machines we use. It’s just a small group of us working here. We take tea breaks when we can and talk about the day. It’s simple, manual work that requires a bit of patience and some muscle. Street 14 can be a bit rough and crowded with trucks, but it’s home for the business. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes in every morning.
