P. S. Steels

P. S. Steels is located at Shop Number 4804 in Deputy Ganj, which is right in the heart of Sadar Bazar. If you’ve ever been to Sadar, you know it’s one of the most crowded places in Delhi. There are people, rickshaws, and carts everywhere you look. Our shop is quite small but we make the most of every inch of shelf space. We’ve been here for years and have seen the market change a lot. The street is so narrow that you can barely fit a small van through it. Most of the time, goods come in on hand-pulled carts. It is very loud outside from morning until night. We spend our day dealing with people who walk in off the street or regular traders we’ve known forever. There isn't much room for a proper office, so we just have a small counter where we do the billing and keep the ledger. It’s usually hot and the air feels heavy with all the activity around. We share our lunch in the back of the shop while someone watches the front. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, nothing like those modern corporate offices you see in Gurgaon. We don't have any slogans or big promises. We just show up, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. It is a bit chaotic, but that’s just how Sadar Bazar works and we like being right in the mix.
