Being down in Chawri Bazar at Gali Lohewali 3650, things are always loud. North West Agencies is tucked away in that busy lane. If you know the area, you know how tight the streets are. We deal with whatever comes through the door. Mostly it's just regular business transactions. We've got piles of stock in the back, and the dust from the street always seems to find its way in. It’s an old building, number 3650, and you can feel the history of the market when you’re inside. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who walk in off the street. It’s not a quiet job. The tea guy comes by twice a day, and that’s usually when we take a break. Otherwise, we are just moving boxes or writing things down in the ledger. Gali Lohewali is famous for this kind of stuff. We aren't trying to do anything fancy here. We just show up, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just sit there until it comes back. That’s just life in Chawri Bazar. You get used to the noise of the carts and the people shouting outside. It’s a small space, really, but we make it work for what we need. It's just us at North West Agencies, doing the same thing every day. We don't have a website or anything like that, we just handle things in person and keep the ledger updated.
