We are located in Sadar Bazar, which anyone who lives around here knows is one of the busiest spots you can find. The shop is No 5660/20 in Basti Harphool Singh. We are right near the Sanatan Dharam Mandir, so you can often hear the bells or the sounds from the temple while we are working. Being in Sadar Bazar means dealing with narrow lanes and a lot of foot traffic every single day. At New Mysore Seeds & Chemicals, we deal with exactly what the name says. The shop is filled with sacks and containers. It has that specific earthy smell of seeds mixed with the sharper scent of agricultural chemicals. It is a bit of an old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. We have regulars who have been coming to this part of the market for years. The space is tight, and we have to stack things high to make everything fit. It is not the kind of place where you come to lounge around. It is a place of business where farmers and suppliers are coming and going. Sometimes it gets so crowded in the lane outside that you can barely move, but that is just life in this part of town. We open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down, which is usually quite late. It is a hard-working neighborhood and we fit right in.
