Naresh Brothers

Naresh Brothers operates out of No.2, Swadeshi Market, which is right in the middle of Sadar Bazar. If you’ve ever been to Sadar Bazar, you know it’s a total maze and always packed with people and carts. Our spot in Swadeshi Market is pretty small, but we cram a lot into it. It’s been me and my brothers running things here for a long time. We mostly deal with whatever stock is moving that week. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around in a tight space. The market can be really loud and hot, especially in the afternoons when everyone is shouting. We usually have tea delivered from the guy around the corner and just keep going until the sun goes down. It’s a messy place sometimes, with papers everywhere and boxes stacked up to the ceiling, but we know where everything is. We don’t have a website or fancy brochures to show off. People just know us from being in the market so long. Swadeshi Market has changed over the years, but shop number two stays pretty much the same. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until night. Sometimes it’s hard to even walk through the aisles because we have so much stuff in there. We don't mind it though. It’s just how things are done here in the bazar. We just show up every day and get through the work one box at a time. There is always someone around to talk to or something to move.
