Most of what we do involves stuff for the kitchen and general houseware. It’s a practical business. We aren't designers or anything like that. We just stock things that are useful and last a long time. The shop is located on a busy stretch of Mathura Road, so there's always noise from the traffic outside. We started this because there was a need for good, solid household items in this part of town. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped because we try to keep a lot of variety on the shelves. You might have to move a few boxes to see everything. We talk to a lot of people who are just moving into new places or trying to replace old worn-out pots and pans. It's nice to see familiar faces coming back after a few years. We don't do much advertising. People usually just hear about us from their neighbors. We open up early and stay until the evening. It’s a lot of lifting and moving boxes around, but that’s the job. We try to keep things simple. If a product isn't good, we don't stock it. It’s just about having the right tools for a home. We’ve been here for a while and we plan to stay right where we are on Mathura Road.
