Metal Sales Corporation

We are Metal Sales Corporation, and we’ve been operating out of 751-52, Kundewalan Street for quite a long time. Being near Ajmeri Gate means we are right in the thick of the old city market. It’s crowded, the streets are narrow, and there’s always something happening right outside our door. Our shop is packed with all sorts of metal stock—rods, sheets, pipes, you name it. There isn't much room to move around once the morning shipments arrive. We spend most of our time weighing out metal and cutting pieces to size for customers who drop by. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We don’t use a lot of high-tech systems; we mostly rely on our scales and the ledgers we keep on the desk. You won't find any corporate talk here. We just tell you what we have in stock and what the current rate is. The noise from the street is constant, with rickshaws and carts going past all day. It’s a bit chaotic, but it’s home for us. We know our neighbors and we know our regulars who have been buying from us for decades. Sometimes it takes a while to find a specific item in the back of the stacks, but we usually get there. We just focus on selling metal and making sure the weights are honest. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it’s worked for us through all the years at Kundewalan Street.
