Harsha Safe Weld Engineering Co.

Being near the Chawri Bazar Metro Station is quite handy for us, though Phatak Karor is still a bit of a walk. We are located at 242/1 at Ajmeri Gate, and the area is always filled with the sounds of metal work. Harsha Safe Weld Engineering Co. is basically a workshop where things are always being cut or joined. There is usually a smell of burnt metal in the air, and we all have grease on our hands most of the time. It is not a clean environment by any means, but it’s where we get things made. The floor is made of rough concrete and there are tools scattered across the benches. We try to keep it organized, but when a big job comes in, that usually goes out the window. We don’t have a big management team or anything corporate. It’s just a few of us who know how to handle the machines and the welding torches. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a project, and the sound of the metro passing nearby is the only way we track the time. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. We don’t put on any airs about what we do. If something needs welding or fixing, we just get the tools out and start working on it. It’s a simple life in a very busy part of the city.
