Gopal Metal Co

Gopal Metal Co is right on the Sadar Bazar Main Road at number 617. Being on the main road means it is always incredibly crowded and there is a lot of shouting and horns honking outside our door all day long. We deal with all kinds of metal goods and keep a lot of stock piled up inside the shop. At 617, we have been part of the Sadar Bazar scene for many years, watching the shops around us change while we just keep doing the same thing. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it holds everything we need. Moving heavy metal items through the traffic on the main road is always a bit of a challenge, but we have gotten used to the chaos. Customers usually come in knowing exactly what they want, so there isn't much fuss. We open up early to beat the worst of the crowd, though Sadar Bazar never really seems to sleep. There is a lot of dust from the street that comes inside, so we are always dusting off the metal pieces. It is a practical business without any extra frills. We just focus on the stock we have and making sure the tallies match at the end of the day. It’s hard work and the air is always thick with the smell of the market, but that is life on the main road.
