If you ever visit Old Lajpat Rai Market, you might find us at 288-289. Deepak Electronics has been sitting in this market for a long time. It’s a crowded place, especially on weekends when everyone is looking for parts or new gadgets. Our shop isn't the biggest, but we pack a lot into those two units. The shelves are mostly full of wires, components, and some older stuff people still ask for. It gets dusty pretty fast with all the foot traffic outside. We open up early and usually stay until the market starts to wind down. My father used to say that the market never sleeps, and it feels that way sometimes. We handle repairs too, so there’s always something being taken apart on the back counter. Dealing with customers is the main part of the day. Some people know exactly what they want, others need to spend twenty minutes explaining a sound their TV is making. It’s loud in the market, with all the shouting and the horns, but you get used to it. We just keep the shop running and try to find whatever part someone is looking for. It’s a simple life here in the market. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just the physical shop. Sometimes the shop next door plays music a bit too loud, but that's just part of being in Old Lajpat Rai Market.
