Cutlery House

You can find us at Shed No. 5 in the Samaypur-Badli Industrial Area. It is a bit of a maze back here among all the other units, but once you find Plot 7/23, that is where we do all our daily work. We make spoons, forks, and all sorts of common kitchen tools. It involves a lot of stamping and polishing all day long. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings and the smell of oil is always in the air. We started out small and just kept at it because people always need cutlery for their homes and businesses. It is one of those things you do not really think about until you need a drawer full of them. Our shed is not very large, but we have tucked the machines in wherever they would fit. The noise is constant during the working hours. Sometimes the heat from the metal presses makes it a bit tough in the summer months, but we keep the big fans going. We do not spend much time on office work or sitting around, we are mostly out there with the tools. We sell to different shops and sometimes directly if someone just walks in. It is just honest work making things that people use every single day at their dinner tables. We do not have a fancy showroom, just crates of finished goods waiting to be picked up. (246 words)
