We are right in the middle of the Central Market in Ashok Vihar Phase I. Being at number 16 means we see everyone walking by. It's a loud place, full of life and people shopping. We’ve been here for quite some time now. Most of the local shopkeepers know us by name. We deal with properties and papers all day. It’s not always glamorous work, sitting behind a desk with stacks of documents, but it’s what we do. People come in with all sorts of questions about land or buying a house. We try to answer them as best as we can without making it too complicated. It’s a family-run kind of feel here. If the tea man comes by, everything stops for five minutes. We think that’s important. The market has changed over the years, more cars and more noise, but we’re still here at the same spot. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything. We just rely on folks telling their friends that we helped them out. Sometimes the computers act up, or the power goes out, and we just light a candle and keep talking. It’s practical, everyday life in Delhi. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to be the people who show up when we say we will. It’s a busy life but it keeps us going every single day.
